A growing Four-Star Hotel in the Upper West Region is looking for a full-time Cosmetologist. This person should be energetic, positive and self-motivated. The perfect candidate must be able to perform cosmetic and relaxing skin treatments, makeup application, scalp and facial treatments, hair styling, manicures, pedicures and massages for hotel guests. They must also be able to advise guests on the best products for them as well as market and sell the items for sale in the salon.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Include but are not limited to:

• Prepare treatment rooms before and after treatments
• Recommend and advise clients on best therapies and follow-up routines/products
• Handle enquiries and bookings
• Handling payments for guest treatments
• Boost sales for treatments and products by providing knowledge and information on the benefits of our treatments and products
• Identify and design appropriate seasonal promotions and new treatments
• Comply with all health and safety legislation
• Manage and control stock for Salon, Spa and Boutique
• Ensure and adhere to quality expectations and standards
• Perform facial treatments, make-up applications, eyelash extensions, manicures/pedicures, hair treatments
• Keep workstation and equipment clean, sanitary and in a good working order

EXPERIENCE

• At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role; and
• Excellent written and spoken English skills.

EDUCATION

• A level 2 Diploma or similar in Cosmetology or Beauty Therapy.
