Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Accra, Ghana. The Corporate Travel Associatewill support the Corporate Travel Department with bookings, ticketing and client service, while also contributing to sales outreach, partnerships and business growth. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and detail-oriented professional with strong Amadeus skills, who is also comfortable using other booking platforms and partner networks to deliver excellent service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support business development by conducting research & outreach to potential clients, attending meetings, representing the company and delivering required presentations.
  • Research, meet and negotiate favourable corporate rates with potential travel service partners & vendors
  • Provide responses, confirmations, updates, and client support as needed.
  • Maintain all CRM processes & information, internal database files and client account reconciliations accurately
  • Deliver monthly account and internal reporting to management team
  • Provide excellent service to high-profile corporate, conference and embassy clients.
  • Research and craft corporate travel itinerary & experience proposals based on client requirements and internal product
  • Assist with client bookings including flights, accommodation, ground transport, visa support, meetings & conferences, and managing required processes in customer journey
  • Manage reservations through the use of Amadeus GDS, Direct airline & hotel platforms/systems, and other partner agencies both online & on-ground.
  • Hold, issue, re-issue, amend and refund flight tickets in compliance with IATA standards.
  • Assist with the logistical planning and delivery of confirmed client trips & experiences as required
  • Manage communications with vendors, partners and on-ground service providers across various destinations, and ensuring that vendor catalogs are updated at all times
  • Manage communications with clients and ensuring efficient tracking at all times
  • Support marketing department by providing necessary information for asset development & delivery
  • Participate in the strategic planning and delivery of various projects and initiatives necessary for service provision and overall business growth

Qualifications Required

  • Degree or Diploma in Travel & Tourism or related field (mandatory).
  • IATA Travel & Tourism Consultant Certification (mandatory).
  • Amadeus Basic Reservation & Ticketing Certificate (mandatory).
  • Proficiency in Global Distribution Systems (mandatory; Amadeus preferred)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in travel agency or corporate travel environment (mandatory).
  • Proficiency in office software, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of Canva desirable

Method of Application

  • This role may require occasional travel for client visits, trips and industry events. Given that we work across different time zones, some non-traditional hours for early or later client calls are an expectation of this role, some non-traditional hours may be necessary to accommodate international clients and partners.
