Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced and creative Chef to oversee food preparation, maintain quality standards, and manage daily kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will be passionate about cooking, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare high-quality meals in line with the hotel’s standards.
• Develop and update menus based on guest preferences and seasonal availability.
• Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate daily food production.
• Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.
• Maintain strict hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards.
• Monitor food inventory and control kitchen costs and waste.
• Report any equipment faults or maintenance issues promptly.
• Collaborate with management for special events and menu planning.
• Ensure timely service during peak periods, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Chef in a hotel or reputable restaurant.
• Culinary training or certification is an advantage.
• Strong leadership and kitchen management skills.
• Good knowledge of local and continental dishes.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• High level of cleanliness and attention to detail.
• Must be willing to work weekends and public holidays.
• Must be willing to reside in Cape Coast (accommodation provided).
