Call for Projects – Strengthening the Commercial Capacities of Fair Trade Certified Cooperatives

As part of the Equity Programme 3 , implemented by Fair Trade France (CEF) and Agronomists and Veterinarians Without Borders (AVSF) , with financial support from the French Development Agency (AFD) and the French Global Environment Facility (FFEM) , a call for projects is open to fair trade certified cooperatives in Ivory Coast , Ghana , Togo and Benin .

This fund aims to strengthen commercial capabilities certified cooperatives , by supporting their participation in professional events , their commercial prospecting activities and the promotion of their products on national and international markets .

Eligible organizations include those involved in the cocoa, shea, fruit, cashew, sesame, and handicraft sectors , as well as any other sector with fair trade certification (Fairtrade, Fair for Life, WFTO, SPP, Biopartenaire).

The selected projects will be able to benefit from funding of up to 10,000 euros , intended in particular to cover the costs related to participation in trade fairs and exhibitions, travel, accommodation, as well as the production of communication materials.
