Job Description


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth and expansion in our agricultural tools and implements business, as well as our power tools segment.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth through effective sales and marketing strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to expand market presence and drive revenue growth in the agricultural tools and implements industry, as well as the power tools segment.
  • Identify and prioritize key target markets, customer segments, and industry verticals for business development initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, distributors, dealers, and strategic partners to maximize sales opportunities and foster long-term loyalty.
  • Identify and prospect new customers, distributors, and business partners through networking, cold calling, and other lead generation strategies.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, and utilize insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment of business development efforts with company goals and objectives.
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients and partners, highlighting the unique value proposition of our products and services.
  • Negotiate and finalize agreements, contracts, and partnerships with customers, distributors, and suppliers, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, including revenue, profit margins, market share, and customer satisfaction, and develop action plans to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements in the agricultural tools and implements industry, as well as the power tools segment, and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Agriculture, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably in the agricultural tools and implements industry, or the power tools segment.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and expanding market share through strategic business development initiatives and effective sales and marketing strategies.
  • Strong understanding of the agricultural sector, including knowledge of farming practices, equipment, and machinery, as well as familiarity with power tools and related industries.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment, to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret data and market insights to drive informed decision-making.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, while meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, partners, and attend industry events and conferences.
