Japan Motors Trading Company LTD is seeking a driven and experienced Auto Technicians (Heavy Duty Trucks).

Job Summary

• The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining heavy-duty trucks to ensure peak performance and customer satisfaction.
• The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise, hands-on experience in heavy-duty vehicle repairs and a commitment to delivering quality service.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Diagnose, repair and maintain heavy-duty, engines, transmissions, braking systems and other mechanical components
• Perform routine servicing, preventive maintenance and safety inspections
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults in vehicles
• Ensure all repairs and maintenance are carried out to manufacturer standards and within set timelines.
• Maintain accurate service records, job cards and repairs
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify faults and recommend solutions
• Collaborate with service advisors and workshop supervisors to ensure customer satisfaction
• Comply with safety procedures, workshop standards, and environmental regulations
• Stay updated on new repairs techniques, tools and heavy-duty-truck technologies
• Complete assigned training courses

Qualification Required & Experience

• Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in repairing and maintaining heavy-duty trucks
• Strong knowledge, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Valid driver’s license (preferably for heavy-duty vehicles
