Job Description


The role holder drives the execution of operational activities assigned and renders services in support of the HR Specialist Delivery Unit in the HR function. This is achieved through effective strong links with the HR team in country and with GPS, and delivering to agreed service level metrics with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy

  • Drive the delivery of the HR agenda to simplify the records retention and retrieval process and deliver value to staff by ensuring proper records management practices in line with internal policies and standards.

Business

  • Ensure accuracy and timely upload of all staff records online and managing the archiving of all staff records with accurate reference data.

Processes

  • The job holder need to complete reconciliation of HR personal files in house and with the archival vendor in line with KPIs specified within the scope of the HR data archival project.

People & Talent

  • Maintain good relationship with colleagues and Senior Management to support the delivery of their work.

Risk Management

  • Ensure confidentiality and appropriate handling and storage of staff records in line with internal policies and regulations.

Governance

  • Have awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.
  • Ensure proper records management to comply with data leakage guidelines and data retention requirement by the Group and as per regulations governing records management and retention.

Regulatory & Business Conduct

  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Other Responsibilities

  • Embed Here for good and Group’s brand and values in SCB Ghana HR team Perform other responsibilities assigned under Group, Country, Business or Functional policies and procedures; Multiple functions (double hats);
  • Upload staff records online
  • Complete archiving of all staff reports
  • Maintain accurate indexing of archived data
