Your Impact
- Manage Inventory related to Repairs and Warranty and plan, organize and control the activities within the surface, process, underground operations, and approve and manage commercial aspects of all direct and stock repair and warranty purchasing supply activities.
As Part Of Our Team You Will
- Actively manage all inventory related to repairs and warranty including the optimization of inventory holding, weekly MRP runs and creation of Repair Purchase Requisition
- Validate budgets, quotes, and repair schedules for major components, verifying technical and financial consistency.
- Calculate and adjust inventory levels for major components according to the maintenance strategy and operational criticality.
- Maintain detailed records of complaints, repairs, and component tracking, including delivery dates and progress status with suppliers.
- Collaborate with the Site Supply Chain Lead, Materials Management and TL lead, and end-users to verify that all repairs meet Newmont, local, state, and national laws, rules, and regulations.
- Coordinate end-to-end movement of damaged parts and equipment from site to vendors premises and back to site including passing appropriate entries in SAP.
- Assist in the development of cost saving strategies, both short and long term, to drive value for the business and mitigate risk.
- Ensure successful procurement of goods through effective repair agreements in terms of costs, quality, quantity, warranty, and availability.
Your Training, Skills & Experience Checklist
Formal Qualification (including Professional Registrations):
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics or related field or an Associate’s degree and relevant experience required.
- Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) can be advantageous.
Experience
- 4 – 6 years working experience in a similar role within a mine operations environment.
Additional Knowledge
- Broad business knowledge and focus, ability to recognize issues, problems and capitalize on opportunities.
- Knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, warehousing, and logistics. Familiarity with mining industry-specific equipment, spare parts, consumables, and their supply and demand cycles.
- Knowledge of HSE standards and regulations, especially as they apply to inventory and material handling in the mining sector.
- Familiarity with regulatory and corporate compliance related to inventory management.
- Experience in inventory control and management in mining environments or heavy industry sectors.
- Experience using ERP systems for managing inventory, tracking stock levels, and analyzing inventory data.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (such as procurement, warehousing, and operations) to ensure alignment of inventory management processes with broader business goals.
- Proven experience in monitoring contractor performance, managing KPIs, and conducting warranty vendor reviews.

Working Conditions
- The location for this position is at our Ahafo South and Ahafo North mine sites.
