Job Description


Excellence Publication and Stationery Limited is looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to support our Finance and Administrative Manager in maintaining efficient financial operations. If you have strong accounting skills and knowledge of QuickBooks (preferred), we invite you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Recordkeeping:

  • Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including journal entries, ledgers, and account reconciliations.
  • Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of payments and receipts.
  • Assistance with Budgeting and Reporting:

Collaborate with the Finance and Administrative Manager on budget preparation and monitoring.

  • Assist in generating financial reports for management review.
  • Tax Compliance and Filing:
  • Help prepare and submit tax filings, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Assist with maintaining tax records and preparing documentation for audits.

Inventory and Asset Management:

  • Track and record inventory purchases and stock levels.
  • Support in managing asset records and conducting periodic inventory checks.

General Administrative Support:

  • Provide administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations of the finance department.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining internal controls to improve workflow and productivity.

Qualifications and Requirements:
ICA & ACCA level 2, Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience in an accounting role, with proficiency in QuickBooks as an added advantage.
Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and take direction effectively.
