Job Description
The Role
- Proactively prospect and acquire new clients through direct sales
- Develop and implement sales service strategies to achieve sales targets
- Ensure that all new and renewal business, mid-term amendments, and general inquiries are dealt with promptly and professionally.
- Develop and manage new/existing SME accounts
- Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success
- Proactive management, supervision, and monitoring of an existing pool of accounts to achieve optimum cross-selling opportunities
- Successfully master all operational challenges in the sales and delivery process for clients
- Own the relationship with individual, small, and medium size clients and ensure great customer journey throughout
- Act as a Deputy for colleagues/Account Executives when they are absent
- Support Account Executives to ensure full compliance with the placement process
- Keep senior team members are advised and informed of changes to information where appropriate.
- Delivery of reliable, high quality and timely reports and documents to support Account Executives
- Keep up with changes in the compliance function and Placement process and report where necessary
- All company and compliance procedures, rules and regulations to be followed and adhered to.
The Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role (experience in the financial industry will be an advantage)
- Proven work experience as a sales account executive
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
