CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Drive and report CAPEX efficiently

·         Manage the CAPEX for all the Company

·         To prepare the network yearly budget/CAPEX and 5YP CAPEX for the company

·         Capex Approval Request (CAR’s) preparation and respond to clarification with regional team

·         Coordinate the monthly CAPEX addition from the respective PM’s.

·         Business decision support,Ensure every Investment is backed with business cases and fact based analysis for business related decisions

·         Ensure that business reporting is done efficiently for Technology

·         To manage all network operating costs (electricity, lease, and field operations cost, service support agreement cost, preventive maintenance cost, staff training cost, vehicles fleet cost, tools etc…)

·         Optimize OPEX against budget

·         Deliver yearly and 5YRS OPEX plan in line with other cross functional units

·         Responsible for vendor management i.e. ensuring that vendors are performing and delivering services in accordance with the service support agreement.

·         Manage and maintain Support Contracts and enforce SLA, penalties and contract schedules

·         Track Technology Team performance

·         Ensure efficient processes and policies enforcement for the Technology department in line with MIC processes and policies.

 

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

·         70% Capex Execution by July

·         10% Opex Savings against budget

·         100% Coverage of Investment with fact based analysis and business case

 

PERSON QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

·         Masters of Business Administration (MBA) or similar fields

·         A background on Engineering, telecommunication or Computer Science will be an added advantage.

·         At least 4 years’ experience in Telecommunication Industry

·         Proven Business Development and managerial experience

·         A Certification in CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) is an added advantage
