Managing the sales process by acquiring new business and deepening existing customer relationships for the mass affluent segment while providing the appropriate service standards.

.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Generate new business through comprehensive sales activity planning and executions, monitoring and promoting outbound calls.
2. Build relationship with existing customers.
3. Active participation in branch sales strategy to execute branch action plans for meeting targets
4. Ensure compliance with Group Policy and Standards, local laws and regulations, controls and procedures of the Bank, and run the branch operations in a controlled and healthy manner.
5. Ensure that the branch executes a comprehensive delivery program to provide service to customers in accordance with the bank’s service standards and ever growing customer expectations.

6. Ensure compliance with:
a. “Guidelines and Procedures on ‘Customer Due diligence” for Account Opening and “Guidelines and Procedures on Cross-Border Account Opening Referral” issued by Group Business and Operations Risk.
b. Controls and procedures on “Know Your Customer” and Customer Due Diligence introduced to addressed money laundering prevention and compliance risk.
c. “Guidelines for the submission of Suspicious Transactions Reports” issued by Head Legal & Compliance/ Country Money Laundering Prevention Officer.
7. Handle both foreign & local account opening and other investment accounts
8. Loan processing & maintenance (not approving). This covers Unsecured and cash secured only
9. Handling account opening enquiries initiated by customers.
10. Processing of Non financial instructions authorities

KEY ACTIVITIES

Prospect for new customers
Account opening and on going account maintenance
Ensure effective quality service
Ensure compliance with Group Key control standards

Sales management
* Individual sales plan and reporting
* Hold branch sales meetings
* Outbound calls
* Branch Pipeline management

Operational Risk
* Ensure zero outstanding AOFs
* Errors on AOFs to be within 0.3%.

Qualifications and Skills

* 1st Degree/ACIB/relevant professional banking qualification
* 2-3 years solid and general banking experience
* Strong customer service orientation
* Salesmanship energy and drive
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Strong supervisory skills
* Excellent presentation skills
* Strong credit sense
* Sound PC skills
* Knowledge of competitors
* Understanding of economic trends
* Sound knowledge of bank’s products
* Sound knowledge of banking practices and theories
* Ability to plan and implement local sales promotion programs
