Our client, Africa’s largest hydraulic specialist is currently looking to recruit a proactive sales Engineer to support their operations in Ghana.


The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and delivering technical presentations explaining products and services to prospective customers and planning the company’s sales strategies.


  • Garnering a clear understanding of the operating environment applicable to the area of responsibility
  • Researching all applicable industries relevant to the company’s range of product.
  • Maintaining up to date knowledge of the company’s products
  • Negotiating prices and completing sales
  • Providing training and producing supporting materials for the sales team
  • Assisting customers in their premises to identify faults and proposing solutions
  • Obtaining the enquiry based on sales activity
  • Calculating prices in accordance to laid down policy
  • Following up on quotations within one week of submission
  • Join and participate in relevant trade and industry forums
  • Determining requirement in conjunction with end and internal customers i.e. supply companies
  • Providing weekly and monthly sales time plan
  • Securing and renewing orders and ensuring delivery


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with sales background
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar role


  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Knowledge in MS (Excel, Word and Power point)
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Ability to deliver results and meet customer expectations
  • Ability to work effectively and independent
