The Regional Manager is responsible for the business activities and commercial development of the markets, making sure that the area’s set goals and objectives are attained, reporting directly to the divisional Managing Director. In this senior commercial role, the Regional Manager is also responsible for all tasks associated with the management of a regional office, such as local marketing, building bridges in order to attract business, assisting customers’ needs, and managing their team.


  • Manage the business activities of the unit and its employees by agreeing on and following up targets regarding safety, quality, output, turnover and revenue.
  • Define, develop, and attain budgeted targets defined by Management.
  • Generate initiatives to develop the existing and present markets by contacting and visiting customers.
  • Ensure that all company policies and procedures are being fulfilled at all times.
  • Research and develop the markets, visit existing and potential customers, and support authorized distributors.
  • Manage and/or participate in internal/external audits as required
  • Provide feedback and develop management reports to the divisional Managing Director and Financial Controller on your area’s activities within headquarters’ reporting dates.
  • Monitor and analyze service performance, taking corrective action where required.
  • Promote a continuous improvement environment focused on process efficiencies and customer service.
  • Review financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and ensure goals are achieved.

  • Higher education degree in either a technical or sales related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a key managerial sales role within the industrial industry.
  • Knowledge of the conveyor belting and/or bulky goods transport industry.
  • Willingness to travel frequently
  • Experience managing a diverse team comprised of sales and production profiles.
  • Proven experience in market development.
  • Exceptional people and team management skills.
  • Widespread financial and data analysis capability.
  • Well-developed entrepreneurial skills.
  • Highly proactive and results oriented.
  • Fluent in both the French and English language
