A reputable real estate seeks a qualified Facilities Officer

Job Description

  • Maintain Housekeeping standards, select and control  use of furniture
  • Supervise the management of plant and equipment
  • Supervise the services of security company
  • Supervise the management of waste
  • Manage Contracts with Service Providers
  • Compile and manage a credible asset register
  • Negotiate and manage leases.
  • Responsible for the acquisition and disposal of plants and equipment
  • Manage data base of all consultants/contractors/sub-contractors
  • Manage database of payments and receipts by processing of invoices, etc. for payment
  • Any other duties commensurate with the position that may be assigned by your supervisor or his representative.

Required Skills or Experience

  • Minimum of a 1st Degree in Land Economy or BSC Real Estates Management from a recognized University
  • Probationer of the VES Division of the GhIS
  • 2 years post NSS relevant work experience in a reputable institution
  • Result oriented
  • Possession of excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Possession of a high sense of integrity
  • Ability to multiple task
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office suite
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of Facilities Management Industry
