Job Summary

• This is a management position with responsibility for all sales activities of the company. The Sales Manager who will have a direct reporting ling to the CEO will manage, supervise and coordinate all sales functions as per the below job description. The successful candidate will seek to meet the exceed annual sales targets, achieving revenue growth by finding new customers, managing the sales team and helping to develop the company’s sales strategy

Job Description

• Development corporate business development plan and tactical sales strategies, which are consistent with company policies
• Manage and oversee all sales of the company’s products
• Identify new markets and customers in Ghana
• Establish and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with a range of customers in both the private and public sectors.
• Researching the needs of existing and potential clients to identify their needs as well as identifying who makes decisions about purchasing
• Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing and leading the sales team
• Develop and manage the company’s customer database, ensuring all relevant information pertaining to customers, potential customers and sales leads is maintained and regularly updated
• Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the company’s management team
• Planning and overseeing new sales initiatives

Qualification Required & Experience

• A minimum of first degree plus Master’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
• Candidate with CIM part 3 would be an added advantage
• At least 3 years experience in a similar position or 5 years experience in a sales executive/relationship officer position with proven negotiation skills
• Proven sales track record
• Excellent client communication and relationship management skills
• Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written communications, sound presentation, analytical and computer skills
• Motivated, with a strong work ethic
