Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist the day to day operations of the HR functions and duties in the branch
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to Functional Executives of the Branch
  • Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies) in the branch
  • Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities
  • Coordinate branch HR projects
  • Handle staff complaints and grievances procedure
  • Communicate with Government Agencies at the branch level
  • Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees

Qualification, Competencies and Experience

  • Requires a minimum of tertiary education preferably a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration (Management Option) or Engineering from a University accredited by the Tertiary Education Board plus Membership of Professional Institution in Human Resource Management

Previous Work Experience Required

  • Must have at least 3 years work experience in a similar role within preferably an industry related to our industry. Must be conversant with Labour Laws/Decrees and Labour Rights

Personal Skill Requirement

  • Must have good communication skills, leadership skills, negotiation skills, tenacity, self-motivation, and very good IT skills especially must be very proficient with Microsoft Office tools such as World, Excel and Power Point as well as the use of the internet
  • Holder must also be a good team player, capable of working long hours and over weekends and with minimum supervision
