Job Description:

ICF International seeks local candidates for the position of Office Manager to provide the administration support required for our office and team in Accra, Ghana. Under the direction of the Operations Manager, he/she will work closely with the management, field and home office staff, subcontractors, consultants and vendors as needed.

Hiring for this position is contingent upon funding from USAID.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Operations Manager and office staff to be responsible for all aspects of program administration and operations • Oversee local petty cash, travel approval procedures, vendor selection, procurement systems, record systems, and program implementation schedules

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. • 2 years experience working with international donor programs • Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing English

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Relevant degree in business or financial administration, monitoring and evaluation, public policy, international development • Experience on USAID projects, highly desired • Demonstrated ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams of professionals in multi-national/regional environments • Familiarity with the political, economic, social, and cultural context of working in Accra • Experience with an international contractor or NGO managing a program or office • Familiarity with USAID policies and procedures: financial management and reporting, procurement processes (including AIDAR, CFR 226, CFR 228, ADS)

Professional Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English • Excellent interpersonal skills • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision making capabilities • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment • Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information
