The ideal candidate will have experience leading a Life Insurance business into profitability and sustainability through exceptional leadership and hold an overall accountability for establishing a competitive management structure. The incumbent will be a result driven individual with a strong sales and marketing experience necessary to thrive in a fast-paced Life Insurance industry.

Responsibilities

  • Driving high level of operational and business excellence.
  • Providing leadership and direction to senior managers and the overall business.
  • Leveraging IT and technology as a tool to drive business development and unlock new opportunities.
  • Ensuring continuous talent management and staff performance.
  • Driving a positive Total Shareholder Return across the business.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Certified Insurer with over 10years of relevant industry experience. Three (3) years should be in a management capacity.
  • Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams for success and drive profitability.
  • Comfort working with budgets, revenue and forecasting.
  • Strong communications skills – Both written and oral
