Role Summary/Purpose

Primarily responsible for all Spares and Tooling held within the Takoradi facility, this includes 100% stock check and daily management for all receipts and issues.

You will be required to liaise closely between internal and external parties to ensure that requested equipment is complete and ready to mobilise in accordance with customer requirements and company standards.

Essential Responsibilities

Responsible for review of all Tool Request (TR1) submissions, with a view to ensuring tooling and equipment is ready and available to meet customers’ requirements.

Liaise with Requester / Client on receipt of any Tool requests to advise on availability of Tooling as detailed on their demand.

Prepare all tooling and equipment cargo summaries for transportation / shipping in accordance with local guidelines. Generate Pick lists, release equipment from stock, create and file all delivery paperwork in appropriate files.

• Update tracking system to reflect all new and ongoing Tool requirements and tool movements.

• Receive and inspect all tooling and equipment returning. Update tracking system to reflect new status. Create necessary documentation and submit request to generate a new • • Manufacturing Order to allow inspection / refurbishment of tools / equipment.

• Liaise with Team Leader and Workshop Lead hand to prioritise workshop requirements in order to meet customer demand.

• Control equipment location. Update tracking system to reflect change of status.

• Control and ordering of spares required for servicing tools and equipment.

• Any essential function deemed necessary by the Line Manager to meet demand.


• Demonstrated ability to interface and communicate effectively.

• Ability to recognize our product and interpret Engineering Drawings/BOMs.

• Manual Handling skills and Hazard Awareness.

• Ability to effectively perform & contribute in a matrix team environment

• There is a strong emphasis on good verbal and written communication skills in this role.

• Strong computer skills with word and excel

• Must have valid authorization to work full-time without any restriction in Ghana.

Desired Characteristics

• Forklift Truck license

• Experience in the Oil and Gas industry

• Has working knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry technical and regulatory framework

• Flexible attitude to working patterns

• Willingness and ability to travel

• Local candidates preferred
