Key Activities and Accountabilities: The day to day operational control and management of international and local logistics activities including the management of all local Customs related activities. This role is the prime interface between all Expro Business units and remote locations to ensure the most efficient delivery of equipment within required timescale utilising approved logistics freight forwarders. The key factors within this role are supplier performance, compliance with applicable local/international laws, and adherence to Standard Shipping Procedures ensuring acceptable service, quality and total cost management.

  • Accountability for all Local Customs processes ensuring correct procedures are used and will be the focal point for managing customs audits
  • Management of broker/freight forwarders and attend monthly / quarterly meetings on performance
  • Working closely with the clients in order to obtain exoneration and extension letters
  • Responsible for the daily logistics activities within the base and organising local and international transport
  • Creation of Shipping documentation and responsible for document retention
  • Co-ordination of project shipping activities, attending morning meetings providing updates on Logistics shipments to operations teams
  • Responsible for timely approvals for all import/export shipments
  • Creating of Purchase Orders for all Logistics activities and first line payment approvals
  • Maintaining Import and Export shipping registers
  • Adhering to all Global Logistics Policies and Directives
  • Maintain and Update Country Procedures (SOP’s)
  • Creation of Dangerous Goods Certificates
  • Ensure objectives set under Employee Development Plan are met
  • Adhere to the Expro Business Principles & Ethics and Code of Business Conduct of being reliable, trustworthy and fair. Avoiding conflicts of commercial interest, ensuring accuracy of information, maintaining

confidentialities and by abstaining from all forms of corruption.Job Knowledge And Qualifications

  • Working knowledge within a logistic environment (preferably Freight Forwarding) – 5 years minimum
  • Air & Sea Dangerous Goods Trained – (advantage)
  • Local/Regional Customs specialist – (Experience with Exonerations and Temporary Import/Export procedures) – 5 years minimum
  • Project management skills – Co-ordination of shipments from various global locations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power-point, Word)
  • Experience in SAP (beneficial)
  • FCPA/UK Bribery Act experience (advanced level)
