ACU CENTRE MANAGER – Ayenyah Ghana.

The roles and responsibilities of the ACU Centre Manager include but are not restricted to:

  • To coordinate and oversee all the Centre’s programs and projects with a view to achieving the set goals, objectives and overall vision.
  • To coordinate the Centre’s human resource and manage their performance towards achieving our common objectives with the overall vision in mind.
  • To oversee and direct the work of other management staff at the centre
  • To ensure, promote and work towards achieving a good working environment that enables everyone to work to the best of their abilities..
  • To call and hold weekly centre management staff meetings that talk through the issues and the required solutions. These meetings to be minuted and those minutes to be send to the Foundation via email.
  • To provide monthly management accounts of all expenditure.
  • To suggest any changes to the operation of the centre that will improve the running of the school and the welfare of the children.
  • To represent the centre in external meetings and functions to network and promote the good work we undertake.
  • To be the person accountable for the custodian of the centre projects, programs and resources.
  • To identify and communicate the need or vacancy for any management staff and other important resources at the centre.
  • To compile regular centre progress reports.
  • Evaluate all the centre’s activities against their intended goals and objectives.

Required Skills or Experience

  • The person who holds this position must be of the highest integrity, hard-working and compassionate.
  • The person must be able to speak either Ewe or Dangme and also be in possession of a clean driving licence and with access to a car.
